Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje International Airport
An SPV is formed for Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje International Airport at Pune (Purandar) Dist. Pune.
A total 2,832 Hectares of Land is notified for Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje International Airport Pune Purandar from the Villages Vanpuri, Kumbharvalan and Udachi Wadi under PMRDA jurisdiction and Ekatpur, Munjawadi, Khanwadi and Pargaon Villages outside PMRDA jurisdiction. For this notified area of 2,832 Hectares. Maharashtra Government has appointed Maharashtra Airport Development Co. Ltd. (MADCL) as Special Planning Authority (SPA) vide Government of Maharashtra, Urban Development Department No. TPS/1818/808/18/UD-13 Dated 13/07/2018. Also, as per Government of Maharashtra, General Administration Department, No.AVN-1008/CR-569/28A Dated 27/02/2019, MADCL has been appointed as Nodal Agency. Presently, Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Airport is in progress by consultant M/s. Dorsh Consultant (India) Pvt. Ltd, appointed by MADCL.
Currently, the total expenditure for the work of Purandar Airport is expected to be Rs 3,513 Crore, for which the Maharashtra Government has decided to establish a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV/SPE). In the SPV, Capital will be shared by CIDCO (51%), MADCL (19%) and PMRDA (15%). According to this PMRDA has proposed to invest a Capital of Rs. 526.95 Crore for the development of Pune (Purandar) International Airport. Administrative Approval is sanctioned for the share of PMRDA’s part as approved in Hon’ Authority Meeting No.6 dated 8th March 2019. Out of total capital share of 600.00 Cr. PMRDA has deposited Rs.7.50 Crore in October 2019.
