Construction of a Railway Flyover on (MDR 119) between Yavat and Rahu, Taluka-Daund, District Pune

Yavat ROB

  • Yavat is an Urban Growth Centre (UGC) and Rahu is a Rural Growth Centre (RGC), connected via this ROB (Railway Over Bridge).
  • Administrative Approval – ₹ 96.68 Crores
    (Land Acquisition – ₹ 19.87 Crores + Construction Cost – ₹ 76.81 Crores)
  • Road Length – 1.70 km

Current Project Status

  • Provisional approval of GAD (General Arrangement Drawing) received from Railway Department.
  • Final GAD submitted to Railway Department for approval.
  • Executed MOU between PMRDA and MRIDC for implementation of said project.

Advantages of Bridge Construction

  • This bridge will connect Pune-Nagar State Highway via Wagholi-Rahu Road (SH-68) to Uruli Kanchan and Pune-Solapur Road (SH-9).
  • Villages like Hingangav, Shindewadi, Labdevasti, Rautvasti, Sahajpurwadi, Lonkarwadi in Haveli Taluka will get better connectivity.

Scope of Work

  • Construction of Main Bridge: Length 200 meters & Width 12 meters (including footpath)

Current Status

    • Piers (including piles) for P2, P3, P4, P5, and P6 are complete.
    • Launching of all girders between piers P2, P3, P4, P5, and P6 is complete.
    • Land acquisition process for the Hingangaon and Khamgaon-Tek sides is in progress.
