The draft development plan layout of Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority has been canceled under Section 40 (with provisions of Sections 23, 26, and 28) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966, and under Section 21 of the Maharashtra General Clauses Act, 1904, and a notification has been issued regarding the same.
